Questions About Our Gazebos
A hardtop gazebo features a fixed solid roof — typically galvanized steel or aluminum — that provides full, permanent protection from sun and rain. A louvered pergola has adjustable roof slats that allow you to control sunlight and airflow, giving you a flexible outdoor shelter that adapts to the weather and your mood. Both are excellent choices depending on how you plan to use your outdoor space.
Yes, all structures in this collection arrive flat-packed and are designed for homeowner assembly using standard tools and the included hardware and instructions. Most customers find the process straightforward when approached as a weekend project with a helper. We recommend reviewing the included manual before you begin so you have a clear sense of each stage.
Start by measuring your available outdoor space and thinking about how you intend to use the structure — whether for dining, lounging, grilling, or a combination. As a general guide, a 10 x 10 foot footprint suits a small seating arrangement or grill station, while a 10 x 20 foot or larger footprint works well for full outdoor dining or entertaining. Leaving two to three feet of clearance around the structure makes the space feel more open and comfortable.

About Our Gazebos
A gazebo is one of the most transformative additions you can make to an outdoor space. At its core, it is a freestanding or wall-mounted structure that creates a defined, sheltered area in your backyard, on your deck, or across your patio — giving your outdoor living space the same sense of purpose and intention you would expect from a well-designed room inside your home. Gazebos are well suited to homeowners who want to extend the usability of their outdoor space across more seasons, providing shade on bright summer afternoons and shelter on cooler evenings. When choosing a gazebo, consider the roof type first. Solid hardtop roofs with galvanized or powder-coated steel provide durable, weather-resistant coverage for year-round use. Louvered designs offer adjustable airflow and light control for a more adaptable experience. Frame material matters too — aluminum frames resist corrosion and require minimal upkeep, while cedar wood brings natural warmth and a timeless aesthetic. Think also about footprint size relative to your space, wind resistance ratings for your climate, and whether a freestanding or lean-to wall-mounted configuration suits your layout best.
